Sandpiper Massage has moved!
What to expect at my new location
Sandpiper Massage has moved to 111 Sunset Ave N. For clients who are used to seeing me at my previous location on Railroad Ave. there are a few differences I thought you’d like to know about prior to your next appointment.
No designated parking spaces. However, there is plenty of street parking and a couple of public parking lots you can use. I like starting my search for street parking north of the building either on Sunset Ave, Bell St or Edmonds St. There are public parking lots at Brackett’s landing (the beach north of the ferry) and the Edmonds Waterfront Center (next to my old building on Railroad Ave.), which are within a 5 minute walk from my building. I am temporarily allowing clients who experience a parking challenge to arrive up to 5 minutes late and still receive their full treatment time, but please plan accordingly if you are unfamiliar with the area.
No waiting room. However, the shared lobby is quiet, and avails you to a sweeping view of the sound. Standing room only.
My room is has lots of daylight. However, you can put a soft pillowcase over your eyes, and/or I can draw the blackout curtains when needed. If you are sensitive to light please allow me to help you find a solution that will keep you comfortable.
My room sounds different. I have soft music and a white noise machine (specifically, the Yogasleep Dohm Classic) on all the time. My building is adjacent to the railroad tracks, so sounds from the railroad crossing and passing trains are very likely during your appointment. I have earplugs available. If you are sensitive to sound please allow me to help you find a solution that will keep you comfortable.
Part-time office dog. My dog sometimes joins me for a day at the office. She is polite and expected to relax in her designated place while you are here. She will exit the room with me when I leave. If you’d like to say hi, you may have a chance to at the end of the session, but it is not guaranteed. She is not hypoallergenic. If you have concerns about her being present, please contact me.
I invite you to give me your input
I like knowing about your experience and am open to hearing anything you want me to know, especially considering all the recent changes. If you’re not able to give me your input during your appointment, you can reach out any way that feels right to you.
Thanks!
