I don’t do “hurts so good.”

If you are a new client interested in my practice but have previously thrived on massage therapy approaches that “hurt so good”, here’s what you need to know.

In my approach, I do not seek to create experiences where my clients are bracing through moderate-intensity pain anticipating the relief that comes afterwards. I would prefer to work with my clients in a way that allows them to remain comfortable and relaxed for the duration of your session.

This does not mean your session will feel light or on the surface. My clients report that despite a more gentle approach than they’ve experienced before, they still feel the work deeply and benefit from sessions, which is exactly what I want for them.
